Engineering Support
Location: Sunnyvale, California
General Responsibilities:
• Assume the role of a focal point to the customer
and Sub-Contractor for quality engineering activities and
issues
• Be heavily involved in the DFM, DFA activities during
the launch of the product into manufacturing
• Work with the manufacturing facility, both NPI & sustaining,
to ensure engineering readiness for prototype and sustaining
builds within set timelines
• Be actively involved with the R&D design and NPI teams
to ensure a smooth product transition from development into
manufacturing
• Provide feedback to the Sales and R&D with respect
to product performance and suggest avenues for improvement
• Provide detailed information to the Operation's team with
respect to process unit hours, capacity, NRE's, yields etc.
• Be involved in production flow and process set-up, Yield
improvement and validation
• Focal point for any quality related issues with customer
and suppliers
Job Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent,
with 4+ years of related experience in a 'high tech,' fast
paced PCBA/System Build environment
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
(e.g. SMT, System Assembly, Quality Assurance, etc).
• Experience in supporting customer and self audits, managing
sub-contractors
• Good knowledge of ISO and IPC procedures and documents
• Understanding of RoHS requirements
• Very good understanding of quality data reporting and
analysis
• Excellent written and oral skills is a must
• Experience of product transitions and dealing with ODM
and OEM
• Experience of taking ownership/responsibility of a project/product
through NPI to sustaining manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills are essential. Ability to interface
with all levels of the organization
Product Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, California
As a member of this team, you will be working
closely with marketing, business development, engineering
and field sales to define and bring to market hardware products,
from conception to completion. In order to succeed, you
must be experienced in product management and capable of
leading the requirements definition, design, management
and review of the hardware's feature functionality. You
will be expected to define the product from the perspective
of the marketplace, including competitive analysis, pricing
strategy, and value proposition analysis. In addition you
must be able to appropriately evaluate and make recommendations
regarding product and partner requests coming from field
personnel or customers with respect to Wyse's overall hardware
product strategy.
Job Duties:
• Lead business case and market
requirements analysis
• Gather, organize, and prioritize
feature requirements; write use cases
• Develop Product positioning
and strategy
• Collaborate extensively with
hardware engineers, test engineers, and marketing on projects
from conceptualization, to point releases, to full releases,

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years business
experience
• 3+ years experience at enterprise
hardware companies in product management
• Experience with markets for
thin clients, edge devices, mobile devices, PCs, or notebooks
• 2-3 years product development
experience helpful
• Linux market experience
• Experience with enterprise
or consumer devices with embedded operating systems
• Proven track record in defining,
managing and bringing to market, enterprise class hardware
products
• Experience in identifying
customer segments through quantitative and qualitative research,

Account Executives
We currently have an excellent opportunity for
a dynamic solutions-oriented Pre-Sales Account Executives.
This position would be territorial-based.
Responsibilities of these positions include
a combination of presales support consultation services,
performing technical product demonstrations and troubleshooting
in support of pilot installations, and thin client initiatives
in medium to large enterprise class customers within your
geographic territory..
The successful candidates will be dynamic
self-starters who work independently and have exceptional
communications and people skills. You should have at least
4 years technical work experience within the I.T. industry
with a minimum of 2 years actual hands on experience working
with either Microsoft Terminal Services (NT4 TSE or Win2K)
alone or in combination with Citrix MetaFrame or Winframe.
You will have gathered this experience working
at either a Value Added Reseller (VAR) or Original Equipment
Manufacturer (OEM) who sells thin-client computing/server-based
computing solutions, or as part of the I.T. staff of a large
scale end user of Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix
Winframe/MetaFrame products. A thorough knowledge of Windows
NT 4, Win 2K, ICA, and RDP protocols are prerequisites for
these positions. Travel is also required. Special consideration
will be made for those candidates with previous Pre or Post
sales support experience. MCSE, CCA, CCEA certifications
or those candidates having extensive experience with IBM
5250, 3270 terminals or CE, NTE, or Linux-based thin clients.
